摘要：

In the present paper, a flexible system suitable for the investigation of both pyrolytic and gas phase reactions has been developed by modifying a conventional GC system. This system has been used to study the thermal gas decomposition kinetics of norbornene and the results have been shown to be comparable with those obtained by other methods.
