摘要
Swelling equilibrium experiments for the system water-ethylene glycol-crosslinked PVA membrane at various temperatures were investigated. A liquid-membrane swelling equilibrium model was developed on the basis of a modified UNIQUAC equation and Flory-Huggins thermodynamics and good agreement between the derived equation predictions and the experimental values for the preferential sorption of water-ethylene glycol mixtures in the crosslinked PVA membrane was obtained.
