摘要
The synthesis and applications of modified binaphtols as chiral ligands in asymmetric catalysis are discussed. Since Noyori first reported the application of BINOL in asymmetric catalysis in 1979, BINOL derivatives had played a significant role in asymmetric catalysis, and had attracted a great deal of interest. Thus, various modified BINOL ligands are successfully applied to a wide range of reactions.
