摘要
We investigate the possibility of determining the fraction of compact objects in the universe by studying gravitational lensing effects on Type la supernova observations. Using simulated data sets from I yr of operation of the proposed dedicated supernova detection satellite Supernova/Acceleration Probe, we find that it should be possible to determine the fraction of compact objects to an accuracy of less than or similar to 5%.
