摘要
In an effort to contribute to an enhanced conceptual understanding of the interconnection between communion and agency in the context of career development, relational dimensions from Josselson's (1992) model are examined and applied to the vocational domain. The attributes of each of these relational dimensions are discussed and illustrated in the context of career development and work experience, with a particular emphasis on vocational exploration as a core process across the life span. The relevance of each relational dimension to exploration is exemplified with the goal of illuminating the connections between work and interpersonal functioning. (C) 2001 Academic Press.
