摘要
We study travelling nonsmooth waves excited at a resonant frequency on the surface of a water or granular layer. Vertical or horizontal excitation is considered. Off-resonance, nonlinear, dissipative and dispersive effects on the shock-, soliton- and cnoidal-like waves excited on the surface are studied, as well as oscillon-like waves. Travelling oscillons can form standing oscillons. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
