摘要：

Local positioning will be one of the most exciting features of the next generation of wireless systems. Completely new concepts and features for wireless data tansmission and transponder sysems will emerge. This paper introduces different concepts of wireless local-positioning solutions and reviews several existing and emerging systems and applications.
