Properties of epitaxial LaCaMnO laser ablated thin films on (100) and (110) SrTiO3 substrates

摘要
Thin films of La0.62+/-0.05Ca0.33+/-0.02MnO3-delta were grown by laser ablation on SrTiO3 with 100 and 110 orientations. We find that the films grow epitaxially, with either the c-axis perpendicular or in the plane of the films. Using the same deposition conditions, films on both substrates have similar characteristics. Anisotropic behaviour of the magnetoresistance is found. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
