摘要
We investigated whether the assessment of small platelet aggregates before percutaneous coronary intervention (PCT) could predict restenosis after PCT. This was a prospective cohort study that enrolled 189 consecutive patients who had coronary artery disease. In multiple logistic regression analysis, higher levels of preorocedural small platelet aggregates were independently associated with restenosis after PCT. Measurement of small platelet aggregates may serve as a useful clinical variable for stratifying patients who present for PCT. (c) 2005 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
