摘要：

The dendrite arm coarsening effect on microsegregation depends on the cooling rate, the cooling curve and partition coefficients of the alloys. For a given alloy, the effect increases with cooling rate and it is important for the amount of eutectic formed when the partition coefficient is greater than approximately 0.2 and the solidus and liquidus are nearly parallel to each other. However, the influence of coarsening on the solute distribution in the primary phase is minimal and therefore, negligible.
