摘要
A new fuzzy expert system for real-time process condition monitoring and incident prevention is developed. Its reasoning strategy is based on dynamic membership functions of fuzzy systems. With a multimedia user interface, the fuzzy expert system can codify the expertise knowledge to handle incidents, perform process condition monitoring, and provide operation support. The prototype of this system has been successfully used in a chemical pulp mill for process condition monitoring and incident prevention. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
