State-selected ion desorption from condensed H2O at 80 K studied by Auger electron-photoion coincidence spectroscopy

摘要
Desorption of H+ from condensed H2O at 80 K, induced by O 1s ionization, is studied using Auger electron-photoion coincidence spectroscopy. It is found that H+ desorption is induced by the O KVV Auger transitions and that the desorption probability is enhanced when holes are created at O-H bonding orbitals. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
