Synthesis of PANI/AgCl, PANI/BaSO4 and PANI/TiO2 nanocomposites in CTAB/hexanol/water reverse micelle

摘要
Polyaniline/silver chloride (PANI/AgCl), polyaniline/barium sulfate (PANI/BaSO4) and polyaniline/titanium dioxide (PANI/TiO2) nanocomposites were synthesized in cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB)/hexanol/water reverse micelle to study the feasibility of preparing nanocomposites in reverse micelle. These polyaniline nanocomposites were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). IR and XRD spectra show that the nanohybrides were composed of PANI and inorganic components, respectively. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
