In-plane anisotropy of the electron lifetime in the cuprates

摘要：

Nonlinear conductivity, skin effect, and transport across a barrier an proposed as experiments for a direct study of in-plane anisotropy of the electron lifetime in the cuprates. The magnitude of these effects within the recently proposed cold-spot model of the normal slate of the cuprates is estimated. A modification of the cold-spot model yielding magnetotransport in agreement with experiments is proposed.
