摘要:
The generally poor performance of commercial preamplifiers for Mercury Cadmium Telluride detectors in high speed transient capture applications have led us to produce our own designs. We summarise methods for predicting performance, illustrated with a design for a photoconductive detector of 4x4 mm sensitive area, giving a noise-equivalent temperature sensitivity of 1.5 mK at 1.2 MHz bandwidth, with high immunity from synchronous radio frequency interference.
