摘要:
We calculate the vibrational energy relaxation rate constants for oxygen molecules in oxygen/argon liquid mixtures of various mole fractions at 77 K. Our results are uniformly about a factor of 5 larger than experimental values, which are in the range of 100 s(-1). When the mole fraction-dependent results are scaled by their values for neat oxygen, theory and experiment are in excellent agreement. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0021-9606(99)50109-8].
