摘要
Lecithin/oil mixtures with trace amounts of water form giant worm-like micelles. In aqeous surfactant mixtures, where also giant worm-like micelles are found, branching of the micelles occurs at high salt concentrations. Similar evidence for branching in these systems has been found in the lecithin system at relatively high water content. It has therefore been proposed recently that branched micelles are formed in this system as well. In this paper we present a study of the surfactant head group mobility by IR-and dielectric spectroscopy the results of which supports this picture.
