Climatic variations in the Iberian Peninsula during the late Maunder Minimum (AD 1675-1715): An analysis of data from rogation ceremonies

Historic documentation containing a record of rogation ceremonies carried out in response to environmental factors allows an initial assessment of the pluviometric regime in the Iberian Peninsula during the late Maunder Minimum, climatically one of the most interesting periods of the 'Little Ice Age'. The data indicate an increase in precipitation with regional variation in its intensity related to the more frequent passage of low-pressure systems over the peninsula.
