摘要
in this paper, the equations describing the vibrations and contact behavior of the bimodal ultrasonic motor are derived. Lagrange multiplier method is used to treat the frictional contact problem. The ordinary differential equations for non-contacting phase and differential-algebraic equations for contacting phase are solved numerically to simulate the dynamic performance of the rotor. Some factors, such as initial stress, amplitude of input voltage, phase displacement and exciting frequency are studied by simulations for the bimodal ultrasonic motor design.
