摘要：
Hurricane Katrina slammed into the Gulf Coast on August 29 causing massive devastation to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast towns to the east. The devastation from Katrina may reignite interest in bolstering the wetlands south of New Oreleans to provide more of a hurricane barrier.
