摘要
The temperature dependence of thermoelectric power theta(T) and ionic conductivity sigma(T) in amorphous and single crystalline lithium tetraborate (LTB)-Li2O + 2B(2)O(3), have been presented. The results of these experimental studies of amorphous LTB are compared with the single crystalline one. The difference in these comparisons has been explained by the structural peculiarities of these samples. The complicated temperature dependence of thermoelectric power in single crystalline LTB has been considered to be a result of the existence of nonequivalent energetic positions for the lithium ions. The experimental results of these investigations are compared with the theoretical calculations. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
