摘要
Epidemiologic data suggest that 30 min-d(-1) of brisk walking can reduce cardiovascular disease incidence in women and men. In a sedentary society, public health initiatives that promote moderate increases in physical activity may represent the optimal balance between efficacy, feasibility, and safety to achieve the desired cardioprotective effect.
