Mechanism and potential energy surface for photoisomerization of stilbene in zeolite nanospace

摘要
The photoisomerization of cis- and trans-stilbenes adsorbed in zeolite supercage was studied by means of Raman spectroscopy for in situ analysis of the isomer ratio in the photostationary state. It was found that the isomerization proceeds mainly through the singlet excited states for NaY and triplet excited states for KY, and also a new potential energy surface for the photoisomerization was proposed.
