摘要
The properties of the ordinary and extraordinary components of paraxial beams propagating along the optical axis of uniaxially anisotropic crystals are investigated. From this analysis, a general method descends for obtaining analytical expressions of optical fields. As an example, the propagation of a Gaussian beam is described. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
