摘要：

The relation between the characteristics of contact charging and the density of electron traps was investigated for polyethylene samples with different density. The information on electron traps was obtained from photomeission measurement carried out using samples previously charged by exposure to an electron shower. It was found that high-density polyethylene tends to contact charge more negatively and has a higher density of electron traps.
