摘要
Advances have been made in the design and synthesis of magnetic structures, opening up opportunities for new applications and insight into future developments. Recent examples include: reversible electrodeposition of thin films allowing tailoring of magnetic properties, combination of lithography and electrodeposition leading to magnetic nanochannel and wire for high density magnetic recording, a new electrodeposition technique to achieve high-saturation induction and low coercivity for high-density magnetic recording head applications, amorphous metal fine wire for sensors, cold-drawn composite wire for unique magnetic domain formation and a new nanocrystalline phase formation for high temperature magnetics.
