The utility of enaminonitrile 2 in the synthesis of some new pyrazole, isoxazole, pyrimidine, pyrazole[1,5-a]pyrimidine, pyrimido[1,2-a] benzimidazole and pyrido[1,2-a]benzimidazole derivatives is reported.
