The future of public administration: End of a short stay in the sun? Or a new day a-dawning

摘要：
In this article, Golembiewski adopts a futuristic view, resting on four contributors to the present uneasy state of the field but focusing on a dozen ''action items'' that can help remedy matters. Selectivity dominates, but nonetheless the autor outlines the major thrusts required to move beyond the present condition of the field-expressed as ''an intellectual crisis,'' a ''stuckness,'' or by related metaphors.
