Radial flows of carbon particles from the interelectrode gap of an are discharge in modes optimum for production of fullerenes are measured. From the experimental data conclusions are made concerning transformations of the carbon particles in a gas-plasma jet. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
