摘要
Nanoparticles Of CoPt3-Cu with an average atomic composition Of Co20Cu20Pt60 (similar to3 nm) were prepared by a polyol process and deposited onto silicon wafers for magnetic studies. A post-heat treatment of the resulting nanoparticle assemblies at temperatures up to 600 degreesC led to coercive fields of H-c=0.35 T at 5 K and H-c=0.06 T at 300 K with particle sizes ranging from 10 to 30 nm after annealing. The onset of chemical long-range order for samples annealed at 500 degreesC was observed by X-ray powder diffraction. The addition of copper reduced the fcc-disordered to fcc-ordered phase transition temperature by 250 degreesC compared with pure CoPt3 nanoparticles. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
