Uniaxially anisotropic substrate effects on resonance of rectangular microstrip patch antenna

摘要
The influence of uniaxial anisotropy in the substrate on the resonant frequency of a rectangular microstrip patch is investigated. Computations show that changes in epsilon(x) can drastically shift the resonant frequency; moreover, a small shift is observed when epsilon(x) changes. Other results also indicate that the effect of epsilon(x) tends to be insignificant for low substrate thicknesses.
