Classes of equivalent Bell inequalities are considered. For two-way measurements and three observables at each of two sites, the class of inequalities non-trivially depending on all observables is unique. The observables are found for which, in the singlet state of two qubits, a maximal violation of those inequalities is attained. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
