摘要
An approach to solve first-swing stability problem using unified power-flow control (UPFC) is proposed. The approach uses the local variable system and offers better stability performances in comparison with the other existing methods. By modulating the active and reactive powers, it is possible to bring a vast improvement in the first swing transient stability. Furthermore, the active power oscillation is damped more rapidly in this approach than in previous ones.
