摘要：

The use of the computing package LISP-STAT for exploratory spatial data analysis is proposed. A short introduction to the XLISP-STAT implementation of LISP-STAT is given. Special consideration is then given to handling geographical information in LISP. Also discussed is the application of XLISP-STAT's graphical facilities to the visualization of spatial data. Some practical examples are then given, based on a US Census Bureau data set.
