摘要
Solubility products of 10 metal oxides MeO in molten eutectic mixture CsBr-KBr(0.67:0.33) at 700 degrees C have been determined by a potentiometric titration technique using a membrane oxygen electrode Pt(O-2)\ZrO2(Y2O3). Oxide solubilities have been stated to be essentially less than those for molten chlorides at the same temperature. Dependences of oxide solubilities in the bromide melt vs. their physical constants have been found to be similar to those for molten alkaline chlorides. Decrease of oxide solubility has been connected with the strengthening association of bromide melts as compared with chloride ones.
