摘要：

A Rh(I)-catalyzed carbocyclization reaction of alleneynones affords functionalized 2-alkylidene-3-vinylcyclohexenones and 2-alkylidene-3-vinylcyclopentenones. The scope, limitations, and utility of this triene-forming protocol have been examined and the results reported within.
