Diabetes in children and adolescents - Areas of controversy

摘要：
Many areas of controversy in pediatric diabetes management exist. Fluid regimen for diabetic ketoacidosis, the role of intensive management in pediatrics and the risk of hypoglycemia, and how to treat type 2 diabetes in older children and teenagers are addressed. Pros and cons surrounding these issues and what might need to transpire to resolve them are explored.
