摘要
Without noble metals: A new catalyst derived from a non-noble metal has been developed for the selective generation of hydrogen from formic acid. DFT calculations and NMR spectroscopy support the formation of active ortho-metalated iron species as key intermediates during catalysis. © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
