The obesity paradox in chronic heart failure (HF) has a number of facets that require discussion. These involve beliefs, various statistical results, and clinical messages. We believe that the paradox is here to stay-the data are just too overwhelming for us to believe otherwise. The main question, however, is what should be the message for patients and their physicians?
