A PDM-based framework for collaborative aircraft tooling design

摘要
In view of the complexity of aircraft tooling design, a PDM-based collaborative design framework is presented and some key technologies are put forward: (1) a technology for collaboration between tooling design and airplane product design; (2) a collaborative design technology of aircraft tooling application models; (3) a correlative design technology of aircraft tooling structure; and (4) a correlative design technology of aircraft tooling semantic information. With the proposed key technologies, the collaborative design is achieved at all levels of aircraft tooling design. A pilot software system based on the proposed technologies has been implemented and deployed in an aviation manufacturing company.
