摘要：

Deuterated organic compounds may be prepared significantly more efficiently and more cost effectively by H/D exchange rather than by classical synthetic procedures. In this Review, the development of methods for the preparative application of the H/D-exchange reaction on a carbon center (see picture) over the last ten years are brought together and discussed.
