摘要：

PMAS, the Potsdam Multiaperture Spectrophotometer, is a new integral field spectrograph currently under develop ment at the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam (AIP). The design is optimized for linear and stable behaviour in order to allow for 2D spectrophotometry which is expected to become an important new observing technique at 8-10m class telescopes.
