摘要：

A novel one-step synthesis of hydrophobically modified polyacrylamide (PAAm) is described. Triblock copolymers of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and poly(propylene oxide) (PEO-PPO-PEO) are grafted onto PAAm in melts of acrylamide in the presence of benzoyl peroxide. The resulting PEO-PPO-PEO-g-PAAm graft copolymers are capable of self-assembly in response to temperature changes in aqueous media.
