Preparation and gas-sensing properties of perovskite-type SrFeO3 oxide

摘要
The gas-sensing materials, SrFeO3, were prepared by solid-state reaction. After calcinations at 800 degreesC, 900 degreesC, and 1000 degreesC for 3 h, respectively, p-type semiconductor gas-sensing materials were obtained. By X-ray diffraction (XRD), our SrFeO3 materials were shown to belong to the cubic crystal system, and were perovskite-type oxides. Sensors based on SrFeO3 were fabricated, and the sensing properties were determined using reducing gases as the probing gas. It was found that the sensors had good sensitivity and good selectivity to the vapour of C2H5OH. The sensing mechanism of SrFeO3 was discussed using the IR experimental data.
