Generation of 13-TW, 26-fs pulses in a Ti:Sapphire laser

摘要
A compact high-peak-power Ti:sapphire laser system that produces 26-fs, 340-mJ pulses at a repetition rate of 10 Hz has been developed. The spectrum was controlled and broadened by two monolayer etalons in a regenerative amplifier, and a stretcher-compressor system based on the Offner triplet with two cylindrical mirrors and two gratings enabled high-efficiency energy extraction and the generation of nearly transform-limited pulses.
