摘要：

The techniques employed by Chief Information Officers (CIO) for meeting superior's expectations regarding system performance measurement are discussed. CIO should include good project management in preparing options for the different points in the development cycle. CIO must include paticipatory management style, assumption surfacing and vision sharing for effective communication with their superior's. The expectation management communication and CIO-CEO relationships are also elaborated.
