(Figure Presented) Surface-bound redox-active quinone groups control the density of immobilized ligands on microelectrode arrays coated with self-assembled monolayers (see picture). The resulting conjugates are characterized by cyclic voltammetry and fluorescence microscopy to determine the density of immobilized ligands on each element of the microelectrode. © 2007 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
