摘要
We study the vortex formation of a Savonius rotor 'propulsive' blade. Particularly we describe the different events happening during a half period of rotation by means of chronophotography technics. A film has been registered from visualisation in a water channel with the dye emitted from the centre of the rotor The rotor blade is in plexiglas and we have been able to detect the different fluid motions on each side of the curved propulsive blade.
