Local chain dynamics of adsorbed polystyrene studied by time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy

摘要
A study of the exchange dynamics of adsorbed polystyrene polymers considering their dynamic and equilibrium aspects was done. It comprised of direct measurements of the rotational chain segment located within the loops along adsorbed flexible polymer chains. The adsorbed polystyrene showed a second order, anisotropic decay with life time decreasing upon adsorption. The double-exponential function was found sufficient to represent the anisotropy, surface and bulk fluorescence decays.
