Many imaging modalities have been evaluated for the diagnosis of left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC). Echocardiography with color Doppler flow imaging is currently the diagnostic modality of choice. In this study, the usefulness of contrast echocardiography to diagnose LVNC was examined, and the diagnostic criteria were evaluated. (c) 2005 by Excerpta Medica Inc.
